North Korea warns Kim’s ‘hand is on trigger’ in World War 3 threat:- North Korea has once again targeted Guam specifically in a sabre-rattling statement, claiming the US territory is squarely in Kimâs crosshairs.
They said âUS military actionsâ were continuing to provoke the dictator and an all-out conflict was not far off.
A warning came in a new statement issued in a Pyongyang-based state run newspaper.
The propaganda rag said continued military exercises in South Korea was risking a bloody battle.
It said: âWe have already warned several times that we will take counteractions for self-defence including a salvo of missiles into waters near the US territory of Guam.â
The statement claimed Guam is being used by America as a base from which to attack North Korea and kill Kim Jong-un.
It said: âGuam is an advance base for invading the DPRK, where key US bases are located, as the US has resorted to military actions in sensitive regions, making the waters off the Korean peninsula and in the Pacific restless.â
And the newspaper, which acts as a mouthpiece for the one-party Kim government, warned Kimâs hand was over the âtriggerâ.
It said: âThe US military actions hardens our determination that the US should be tamed with fire and lets us take our hand closer to trigger for taking the toughest countermeasure.â
It comes after North Korea warned America had âlit the wick of warâ, admitting a peaceful conclusion was now impossible.
Earlier this week North Koreaâs foreign minister directly accused Donald Trump of provoking World War 3.
Ri Yong Ho said: âWith his bellicose and insane statement at the United Nations, Trump, you can say, has lit the wick of a war against us.
“We need to settle the final score, only with a hail of fire, not words.”
Mr Trump himself has done little to ease tensions, claiming last mont he would “totally destroy” North Korea if hermit state threatened the USA or its allies.
And he tweeted North Korea “won’t be around for much longer”, a direct threat to Kim – who he has bizarrely taken to calling “Rocket Man”.
