China preparing for catastrophic refugee crisis as North Korea melts down
CHINA is preparing for upwards of 1 MILLION refugees to flood into the country as they escape the madness of neighbour North Korea.
Shocking new documents revealed five sites were being readied for massive refugee camps along the China / North Korea border.
They show that the Changbai branch of Beijing’s largest mobile company has tested signal strength at five of its sites, which are identified as potential “refugee settlement points” by local authorities.
According to the document, that went viral on Chinese social media, the preparations took place because of the “tense situation along the North Korea border”, according to the Financial Times.
Changbai, in north-east China, is so close to North Korea it felt the tremors from Kim Jong-un’s most recent nuclear test.
But a spokesman for China Mobile’s Changbai branch played down the reports, saying: “The government has ordered these settlement points. But don’t worry, no one is panicking here.
“It’s not a big deal.”
It comes as Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned Russia, India and China were ready to intervene in the conflict.
The warning came just days after large-scale drills by US and South Korean forces in a show of defiance against the hermit kingdom.
China, the North’s main trading partners, has repeatedly called for the United States and South Korea to stop their exercises.
The hermit state has defiantly continued its testing of ballistic missiles as angry rhetoric tyrant Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump continues.
On November 29, it test-fired an intercontinental ballistic missile which it said was its most advanced yet, capable of reaching the mainland United States.
After the secretive state’s most recent missile launch, it warned it was now capable of striking any country in the world, putting the world on the brink of World War 3
