Silversea touts another epic South America cruise:-Luxury line Silversea is taking reservations for another epic sailing from Florida to South America and back.
The 69-day voyage on the 596-passenger Silver Muse will kick off Jan. 3, 2018 in Fort Lauderdale and feature a complete circumnavigation of the continent.
Highlights of the trip will include a crossing of the Panama Canal; two days cruising Chile’s majestic fjords; a three-day stopover in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil during Carnival; and overnight calls in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Manaus, Brazil; and Valparaiso and Punta Arenas, Chile.
The South America sailing is just one of several extended trips Silversea has unveiled for 2018 and 2019. The line also recent announced plans for a 132-day world cruise in 2019 that includes stops in 52 ports in 31 countries.
Fares for the South America voyage start at $36,955 per person, based on double occupancy.
Silver Muse is Silversea’s newest and biggest ship. Unveiled earlier this year, it boasts some of the biggest and most elegant accommodations at sea including four apartment-like, two-bedroom Owner’s Suites that measure up to 1,389 square feet.
Silversea also offered a complete circumnavigation of South America in early 2017 after operating similar trips in 2014, 2015 and 2016. The sailings marked the line’s first complete circlings of the continent since 2010.
