With her then boyfriend Rene Elizondo’s hands covering her breasts, Janet Jackson completed her transformation from a musically inclined Jackson sibling to a sexually charged goddess of R&B. With the release of 1993’s Janet, the “All for You” singer showed off a sexier side and took it all the way with her topless cover for Rolling Stone’s September 1993 issue.
Supermodel Status
Cindy Crawford set the bar for supermodels to come. As one of the first models to sign lucrative deals to promote products such as Pepsi, Crawford became a household name with the release of her fitness videos. The fit model also posed for Playboy multiple times and went nude for Esquire’s August 1995 cover.

Brooke Shields made a name for herself as a child star in the late ’70s and a Calvin Klein model in the ’80s.
