Sarah Hyland and Dominic Sherwood are over, according to Entertainment Tonight, which claims Sarah is the one who broke things off with the Shadowhunters star. Their source — a friend of the reported former couple — says that they will remain, friends, however, their relationship just reached its end point. And, we didn’t see this one coming, or, did we? — Sarah has not posted one photo with Dominic to her Instagram since May 2017. And, Dominic hasn’t posted a photo of the Modern Family star since April 2017.
Fans are trying to piece together when and why the young stars split, especially since things seemed so good in paradise. As you may know, Sarah recently joined the cast of Dom’s Freeform hit show, Shadowhunters, where she played a guest role for two episodes. Sarah took to Instagram on May 8, where she posted a group photo with the show’s cast. In her congratulatory caption for the completion of the show’s second season, fans thought she hinted that she would be back for the next season. “Can’t wait for 3!”, she wrote. So, if Sarah does return to the show after the alleged split, will it be awkward?
