Inside Meghan King Edmond’s First Days With Her Newborn Daughter Aspen King Edmonds
The Real Housewives of Orange County gained a new cast member this past week, and proud mom Meghan King Edmonds is more than ready to show her off.
Giving the family, even more, a reason to celebrate this Thanksgiving, Meghan and her husband Jim Edmonds gave birth to daughter Aspen King Edmonds this past Thursday and have been updating fans ever since with adorable snaps of their newborn ever since.
“Our perfect Aspen King Edmonds made her grand entrance on Thanksgiving Day,” the happy mom wrote on Instagram. “We have a healthy, strong, happy baby who loves breastfeeding and already holding her head up!”
And Meghan wasn’t joking about having a happy daughter, as she showed off in a few adorable snaps of her baby girl. “3 days old and already loving life!” she captioned a cute picture of the newborn, who is smiling widely while swaddled in a pink and white blanket with a matching pink cap and bow.
Who wouldn’t be happy when just at three days old she’s already found a fur-ever best friend? Meghan shared a close up of her golden doodle pup Girly Girl meeting her new little sister for the first time, and the two looks smoke as they take a quick nap together.
“Puppy and baby in love already,” she captioned the photo, along with a baby and dog emoji.
In addition to meeting new friends and smiling her way through her first week on Earth, Baby Aspen has also already started taking after her parents. Particularly in her facial features, according to Meghan.
“My mini Jimmy (don’t you think she looks just like him?!)” she captioned her heart melting picture of Aspen sleeping.
But it’s not just her famous dad that she’s replicating. She also seems to be taking after her fashionable mom, as she has been photographed in a variety of cute bonnets, including pink and striped bows as well as a few flowers—all very fitting with her mom’s feminine chic style.
And though she may just be gaining her bearings, little Aspen is already in for a special first few months. Having come just in time for the holidays, she’s already experienced her first Thanksgiving AND Christmas all at once.
“She went from being born on Thanksgiving to leaving the hospital with Christmas decorations!” her mom, who is beaming with joy in the photo, wrote on Instagram.
