LaVar Ball wants all three sons on same NBA team

LaVar Ball has a grand plan and it involves not only having all three of his sons playing in the NBA, but all three playing for the same team.
The founder of the Big Baller empire would prefer that team be the Los Angeles Lakers, for whom his oldest son Lonzo plays.
However, according to a tweet published by Lithuanian basketball reporter Donatas Urbonas, Ball plans to look elsewhere if the Lakers aren’t interested in also signing sons LaMelo and LiAngelo. They currently are playing professionally for the same team in Lithuania.
“Lonzo plays best when he is with his brother,” Ball said. “Why wouldn’t — he is a hell of a shooter. They don’t play the same position. You see how successful he was when he was with his brother?”
The Lakers selected Lonzo Ball with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 draft. The rookie is averaging 10.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 36 games. However, he’s missed the last 12 games because of a sprained knee.
He is under contract with the Lakers through the 2020-21 season.
LiAngelo would be eligible to play in the NBA next season, and LaMelo two years after that. By that time, LaVar’s plan could materialize.
