Man is shot in car on Mass. Ave. in Boston

A man was shot inside a car on Massachusetts Avenue Monday evening, police said.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Massachusetts and Huntington avenues. The driver was taken to Boston Medical Center in critical condition.

Authorities said they believe the shooting was gang-related, and said the injured driver is known to police. Police said they are looking for a dark SUV.
