It was reported that Abby Lee Miller has officially arrived to serve her prison sentence on Wednesday, July 12, in California. Miller was seen arriving to FCI Victorville nearly two hours ahead of her given deadline.
If you haven’t heard, Miller plead guilty back in May for bankruptcy fraud and not reporting her bringing of $120,00 Australian dollars into the United States.
Along with her 101 day sentence, she was given two years of supervision and fined $40,000 with a $120,000 judgment.
While most of us see prison as such a big and scary place, where Miller is going wont be so big and scary, according to sources she will most likely only serve 10 months in the big house before making her way to a half-way house.
FCI is a a low-security facility with criminals of non-violent crimes, she wont exactly be living in style but she already has better perks than most since FCI provides their inmates with a commissary, fitness activities, and recreation programs.
Even with less time in actual prison, Miller is still worried about going. She apparently is surprised that its even happening.
“It’s surreal! I keep thinking someone’s gonna call and say, ‘Oh, it was a mistake!’” she told US Magazine at the time. “I’m not out taking karate. I’m not in a self-defense class, though, maybe I should be.”
She may not believe that this is happening to her but a source revealed that her co-stars on Dance Moms believe she got off easy, apparently they even say she should have been given a worse punishment than what she received.
“In general the cast and crew of Dance Moms aren’t at all sad that Abby was sentenced. Many think she deserves it. They do not like Abby,” The Source told US Magazine. “Many actually think she deserves a bigger sentence.” Ouch! Talk about harsh.
But despite the hate shes gotten, it hasn’t slowed Miller down at all. Shes even told that immediately following her release she’s going to head straight back to work. She’s even thinking about doing a new show that leads off where Dance Moms will finish.
Hey, she’ll have plenty of time to work on it during her sentence.
