Jessica Simpson Posted a Photo of Her Daughter and People are Freaking Out
Jessica Simpson shared photos of her daughter posing in a bikini on Instagram and people are freaking out over what they say is an inappropriate photo.
Simpson posted a series of three photographs of her 5-year-old daughter outside on a scooter, wearing a children's bikini. She captioned the photo, "Safety first."
In true mom-shaming fashion, immediately people flooding the comments with their concern.
"There are disgusting people out there who would use this picture for bad things. Never post pictures of young girls in bathing suits for the public to see!" one person wrote.
“I would NEVER post a picture like this of my 5-year-old daughter! This is an account anyone can see. Jessica shame on you for exposing your daughter instead of protecting her!" wrote another.
Simpson has not yet publicly responded to the criticism over the photo she posted.
Simpson is not the only celebrity mom to receive this kind of shame recently. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards got backlash for posting a photo of her daughter in a bikini as well.
Many followers did come to Simpson’s defense though.
One user wrote, “Any adult who looks at this LITTLE girl as something other then playing outside and having fun has issues.”
