Bed Bath and Beyond may have left Ivanka Trump line
Bed Bath and Beyond appears to have stopped selling Ivanka Trump-branded products.
The home goods giant's website no longer lists any products with Ivanka Trump's name, although the company had no immediate response to a request for comment.
Shannon Coulter, founder of the #GrabYourWallet movement, tweeted a photo of a customer-service e-mail, which says. "At this time, we are no longer carrying Trump merchandise."
Several major retailers have distanced themselves from the New York-based fashion line, trying their best not to rile either supporters or opponents of Ivanka Trump or the Trump administration.
Nordstrom's announced in February that it would stop stocking Trump-branded items, which provoked a tweeted response from the president expressing his dismay. Later, Sears and Kmart stopped offering some products on their websites and Neiman Marcus also bid farewell to the first daughter's goods. And T.J. Maxx and Marshalls staffers were reportedly told not to promote her stuff.
As of earlier this month, Ivanka Trump's brand remained in good shape. The fashion search engine Lyst found that it ranked 11th — up 346% from the month before when it was No. 550 on the roster.
Grocery chain Wegmans refused to stop stocking Trump wines, resisting an anti-Trump wine group and causing has caused some of the supermarket customers to cheer.
