Internet Reacts to Ryan Reynolds Kissing Andrew Garfield at Golden Globes
Step aside Madonna and Britney Spears, there’s a new “kiss heard around the world.”
Last night at the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Ryan Reynolds and former Spider-Man Andrew Garfield delivered the most-talked about moment at the 3-hour ceremony when they locked lips. Their passionate embrace happened right after Ryan Gosling was announced the winner of Best Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy — beating stiff competition from the Deadpool star. As Gosling took to the stage, Reynolds and Garfield could be seen snogging in the background.
Even though it stole some thunder from Gosling’s big moment, he got kick out of it once he was made aware of it and shown footage of the kiss after the ceremony. “I mean, I’m happy for them, honestly, you know?” he told ET. “Good for them.”
Garfield’s ex-girlfriend Emma Stone couldn’t believe it. “That’s hilarious!” she exclaimed.
However, not everyone was a fan. “Ryan Reynolds full kissing some guy in the audience – a proper on tongue job,” Piers Morgan said during his live Golden Globes coverage. It’s a bit odd. Everyone was like, ‘Woah! What’s going on there Ryan?'”
