OVERVIEW

Hi, My name is Michael. I graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle. I have taken a variety of math classes at both the community college and university level. I excelled in these classes, and I would be more than happy to help others in these subjects. I live in the Eastside area in the city of Sammamish, Washington. I am here to offer private one-on-one tutoring services for middle school, high school, running start, community college, technical college, and university students. I bring more than 4 years of tutoring experience as well as a friendly and encouraging attitude to every tutoring session. When I tutor, I follow a "learn through examples" technique by demonstrating the approach to solving a problem through several examples while explaining to the student my rationale behind my thought process. Afterwards, I give the student the opportunity to apply these approaches with other practice problems from their textbook or class handout(s) while observing and intervening to help the student when the student has difficulty by breaking down the approach further. I have had great success in the past with this technique, and I continue to use it to this day whenever I tutor. My rate is $30 per hour and must be paid in cash at the end of each session. I charge a minimum of 1 hour every session with 10 minute increments after the first hour ($5 for every 10 minutes after the first hour). I am available to tutor all 7 days of the week in Bellevue, Clyde Hill, Medina, Yarrow Point, Hunts Point, Sammamish, Issaquah, Fall City, Preston, Kirkland, Redmond, Renton, Newcastle, Woodinville, and Mercer Island. In other words, I am available to tutor in most of the Eastside area (basically anywhere that is within a rough 15 mile distance of East Lake Sammamish). I am certainly open to tutoring in slightly further cities on weekends though such as Seattle, Lynnwood, and Bothell. I provide tutoring in the following subjects: â€Â¢ Arithmetic â€Â¢ Pre-Algebra â€Â¢ Algebra I (Introductory Algebra) â€Â¢ Geometry â€Â¢ Algebra II (Intermediate Algebra) â€Â¢ Pre-Calculus I (College Algebra) â€Â¢ Pre-Calculus II (Trigonometry) â€Â¢ Calculus I (Derivatives) â€Â¢ Calculus II (Integrals) â€Â¢ Calculus III (Sequences & Series) â€Â¢ Calculus IV (Multivariable) â€Â¢ Differential Equations â€Â¢ Linear Programming If interested, please send me an e-mail message on here. My e-mail address is: Michael.MathTutoring@gmail.com My mobile number is: (206) 659-9872. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
