If you would like to learn more and see for yourself how gold is discovered, come out to the Puyallup Fairgrounds April 6th & 7th and attend the Gold and Treasure Expo sponsored by Gold Prospectors Association of America. You'll see live demonstrations of gold panning and the uses of other types of equipment. Qualified prospectors give their insight on a variety of techniques during brief seminars. Topics include basic prospecting, local area geology, metal detecting, and much more. Great fun for the entire family. Huge prize giveaways each day. Adults $5 and kids 12 & under are FREE.
