Our over $150 million dollar company operates in 11 states. The position of Dispatcher is located at our EC Power Systems Corporate office in Portland, Oregon. This position is responsible for the efficient dispatch of field technicians throughout Oregon. Responsibilities include: Schedule and service dispatch typically 7-10 field technicians simultaneously for service, maintenance and emergency calls Handle a high volume of customer calls with excellent customer service Open and maintain service work orders Issue purchase orders Update maintenance information in mainframe system Maintain and create spreadsheets in Excel Research and stage parts for field technicians Additional administrative duties as required Required experience and skills: Must have a minimum of one year previous service dispatch experience with service technicians in the same or a related industry (heavy equipment, forklifts or construction equipment),electrical/mechanical industry a plus Must have experience with ordering parts and issuing purchase orders Ability to multi-task in a busy team environment Ability to be organized and prioritize, without sacrificing customer service Proven experience with organizational skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent customer service, communication and phone skills Must have experience with customer service and high call volume Intermediate computer and data entry skills, including Word and Excel Ability to work independently EC Company offers a generous employee benefits package, competitive salary based on experience and great working environment.
