OVERVIEW

USNR, a leading manufacturer of sawmill equipment with divisions located through out the U.S. and Canada, has an immediate opening in Woodland, Washington for a highly motivated and team oriented Customer Collections Specialist. This individual will recognize the importance of sustaining our valuable customer relationships with our Operations teams while building their own customer relationships tfoster expedited payments. The role requires excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency, and consistent, timely follow up on past due accounts. Essential duties and responsibilities include: Accounts Receivable Monitor customer balances for assigned customer accounts Manage collection efforts at all stages of aging Document collection efforts in billing software Help testablish and maintain standard collections practices and procedures Communication with Operations Communication with our Operations staff is vital in informing them of the status of customer accounts and understanding the status of projects as it relates toutstanding receivables, in order tdetermine the best course of action in contacting customers for collection efforts Communication with Management Communication with management is vital in determining Communication strategies and risks associated with extending Credit Provide regular AR reports tmanagement Discuss aged balances with management sthat a determination of credit hold can be made Relationships with Customers It is expected that this individual will build strong relationships with key Customer personnel in order timprove communications regarding their accounts Successful Outcomes Include: Meeting Key Performance Metrics such as: AR % Current Average Days Sales Outstanding compared ttargets Appropriate communication with Senior Management, Project Managers, and Sales Representatives sthat they are well informed of the status of their customer accounts Education and Experience 2 plus years in Collections and/or Customer Service or similar role preferred High school graduate or equivalent, some college or higher education preferred Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus Technical Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
