Celebrating 31 Years of Dance: At Kathryn Barnett School of Dance & Allegro Dance Academy, ‘It's All About The Kids!’ Through movement, students are encouraged to discover their creative awareness at every age. Dance helps students physically develop a sense of balance, improve agility, and encourage creativity. We also believe in developing solid teamwork, self-esteem, and professionalism. Union Square Mall - Rt. 35 South in Middletown / Red Bank New class formats at KBSD-ADA this year will help us develop our techniques in every style of dance. Separate technique classes in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary will encourage dancers of all ages to advance their learning to the next level without an extended or required commitment. Tap, hip-hop, acrobatics, pointe, musical theatre, and a stretch and strength class round out the KBSD-ADA schedule. We believe that quality dance education should be available to everyone! Pay in advance for one full year at registration and receive a 10% discount. We are continuing to offer two levels of the award-winning Barnett Traveling Troupe. Our Competition Team are the winners of the Class Act Award at OnStage New York Competition as well as the well-known Holiday Express Dancers; and our Performance Troupe, who appear at community performances and can attend one competition if they so choose.
