OVERVIEW

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is now hiring a Purchasing Manager. This position is responsible for managing the activities of the purchasing function, which includes procurement of all inventory and non-inventory products, services, and supplies necessary for property operation. Tasks include, but are not limited to, conducting high dollar-value purchasing responsibilities (research, negotiation, and bid selection, etc.); cultivating working relationships with existing and potential vendors; and providing consultation to management on issues pertaining to purchasing. A combination of education and purchasing experience totaling five (5) years is preferred. Must be able to obtain an occupational license through the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.
