OVERVIEW

We are a 10-year-old online marketing firm in Lakewood looking for an energetic, self starter to handle bookkeeping, accounting, and reporting. This is a fast paced environment with routine changes to keep you energized. Must be able to perform all aspects of bookkeeping including A/P, A/R, payroll, cash management, and monthly financials. Will also be responsible for reports to support the management team Work to be performed at our Lakewood office near Belmar but hours can be flexible to help you manage your home/work balance. Job Duties: Daily entries for bank accounts Importing A/R from operational platform Collecting payments via credit card and check Creating cash forecast with President Weekly A/P check run Uploading data to ADP for payroll Create monthly statements for management team Reconcile bank and credit card statements Work with outside CPA firm Create reports as needed in Excel Maintain company financial records to ensure security and confidentiality Skills required: Knowledge of double entry accounting Experience with QuickBooks Proficient in Excel Ability to work with multiple software platforms Ability to problem solve basic accounting and system questions Self-starter that doesn't require high level of supervision for day to day activities Likes to work in a team Provide insight into financials Work with customers to manage their account balances If interested please respond with a cover letter and resume detailing the skills required.
