2006 VW Jetta GLI, 2.0 Turbo Intercooled FSI
OVERVIEW
2006 VW Jetta GLI, 2.0 4-cyl Turbocharged/Intercooled, FSI, 6-speed close-ratio manual trans., 201k, Reflex Silver. Runs good, drives good. Body and interior are good.
This is a NJ car with no rust or rot with a clean Carfax showing a steady succession of dealer servicing and not much else. NJ car means it isn't all beat up by the FL sun. There was a front plate bracket that I removed but is included.
Has the usual GLI stuff like big brakes, stiff springs, alloy wheels, airbags, satellite radio, pw, pl, ps, pb, sport cloth interior, GLI trim, floor mats, fancy pedals, steering wheel and shifter, etc. All electronics work...
I picked this up about a month ago and I just don't have the time or money to put into it right now. Registered, insured and if you buy it, I'll drive it wherever you need me to (within reason).
Brand new Diehard AGM battery, new air, cabin& oil filters, wiper blades, touch up paint, other misc items.
Still has the original struts that need replacing and a couple tires are noisy (225/45R17). Needs some other minor odds and ends but nothing serious.But as noted, it is very much driveable as-is but keep in mind it has 201,000 miles on it so it will not be perfect.
The airbag light is on but there is a TSB that will put it out by replacing a plug under the seat with butt connectors.
$3950 takes it home. Serious only please, with cash available. If ad is here, GLI is still available. Note that the price may go up if I get the time to do some of the work such as struts.
