Photographers consider nuances such as how lighting the face differs from lighting the figure. This workshop covers how to illuminate subjects effectively using available light, tungsten, and strobe light. Although the emphasis is on studio lighting, the workshop also addresses outdoor and on-location lighting. Topics include lighting foreground and background elements, making correct exposures, controlling and manipulating light, using accessories (meters, reflectors, softboxes), directing your subject and working with models. Instructor ANTHONY CAMERA is a Denver, CO-based photographer specializing in editorial portrait and advertising photography. With over 20 years of experience, he has shot for many publications nationally but is best known for his work with Denver�s alternative weekly, Westword magazine. Camera is well known as a fine-art photographer working in the studio and on location. He has recently been interviewed by The Nervous Breakdown, Action Figures, and the Untitled Arts Show, and has been acknowledged by CORE Media as Denver�s �Best Commercial Photographer�. He also makes a mean gluten free, vegan, dairy free, broccoli casserole that is safe for those with peanut allergies and made from reclaimed food�.MmmMMmm delicious.
