In the year 2002, she had reprised the role of Stifler’s Mom in American Pie 2. Later in 2001, Jennifer Coolidge had played a supporting role of Paulette Bonafonté who was a manicurist in the movie Legally Blonde. That movie did pretty well at the box office as it was a huge hit and collected US$96 million domestically. As the film had got a huge success worldwide, it confirmed her reprising her role in the sequel named Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde. Unfortunately, this part could not gather all the appreciation that was there for the previous part of the film and this movie also got some negative reviews. In the year 2003, Jennifer Coolidge had played the character of Jeanine Stifler in the film named American Wedding. In 2003, she played the protagonist's agent Luise in Testosterone filmed in Argentina starring David Sutcliffe as Dean Seagrave and Antonio Sabato Jr as Pablo.

In the year 2004, we all saw her in a supporting role in the romantic comedy film named A Cinderella Story. In that film, she played the character of Hillary Duff’s vain and self-absorbed negative stepmother. The film was not able to impress the critics, but it managed to get a lot of good fan reviews by being a moderate box office success. She was so close to getting the role of Lynette Scavo on the hit TV show Desperate Housewives, but unfortunately, it was finally offered to Felicity Huffman replacing her. From the year 2004 to 2006 Jennifer Coolidge was cast in an NBC series named Joey. In that show, she used to play the character of Joey’s oversexed agent named Roberta ‘Bobbie’ Morgenstern. It was during the second season of the show when she began to appear more in the show instead of just being a recurring character to being a more prominent one as she had done 37 out of 46 episodes in that season. As the ratings of the show were decreasing after the second season so NBC canceled to premiere it further in May 2006. Jennifer Coolidge originally starred in an episode of Friends in its final season as Amanda, a tactless and uninhibited wannabe whom Phoebe and Monica were trying to shake off. In that film, she played the role of a white bitch of Narnia, a lampoon of the Disney and Walden Media film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. According to the diction of A.O. Scott from New York Times "the film was irreverent and also appreciative, dragging its satiric prey down to the lowest pop-cultural denominator" and added, "The humor is coarse and occasionally funny. The archly bombastic score is the only thing you might call witty. But happily, Jennifer Coolidge and Fred Willard show up to add some easy, demented class."
