The Phantoms took a 3-1 lead in the second-round series as Alex Krushelnyski provided the game-winner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">Lyon had surpassed Scott Munroe&#8217;s previous Phantoms record when he recorded his 66th save of the game. The 2008 game in which Munroe set the team record also saw what is believed to be the AHL record for saves when Michael Leighton of the Albany River Rats stopped 98 shots. That contest was the longest game in AHL history until Wednesday night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">The 25-year-old Lyon saw a brief run in the NHL this season, the first time in his career he&#8217;s appeared at the top level.
