Also, Rockies&#8217; Gerardo Parra and Padres pitcher Buddy Baumann each received a one-game suspension for fighting during the incident.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">Unless appealed, the suspensions of Perdomo, Arenado and Parra are scheduled to be effective tonight. The suspension of Baumann, who has since been optioned to Class AAA El Paso, will be effective upon his return.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">Padres catcher A.J. Ellis, infielder Freddy Galvis and Rockies pitcher German M\u00e1rquez were fined.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">The incident occurred In the third inning when Arenado took exception to a pitch that buzzed behind him from Perdomo and immediately charged the mound.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">Arenado and Perdomo exchanged punches and were ejected, as were Ellis, Parra and Marquez.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">The incident may have been brewing for some time. In their previous seven matchups this season, six batters between the two rivals have been plunked.
