Woman accused of fatally shooting driver for cutting her off<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

A Massachusetts woman allegedly shot a driver for cutting her off \u2014 and bragged that she\u2019d warned her victim, \u201cdon\u2019t make me spank you,\u201d on Facebook, according to local reports.<\/span><\/p>\n

Graciela Paulino, 20, was nabbed in Lowell Thursday for killing 34-year-old construction worker Mark Devoe, who may have cut her off as he was coming back from his lunch break, the Boston Globe reported.<\/span><\/p>\n

A pal who\u2019d been in Devoe\u2019s blue Hyundai with him at the time of the incident told cops they quickly realized Paulino was trailing them.<\/span><\/p>\n

When the two men pulled up to a lot near their construction site, Paulino got out of her car and an argument erupted between her and Devoe, with the two \u201cyelling back and forth at each other,\u201d according to the police report.<\/span><\/p>\n

Devoe\u2019s pal, Brian Daigle, noticed the woman reach to the left side of her waistband and told his friend, \u201cC\u2019mon forget it, it\u2019s just a girl.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The men left but noticed Paulino still following them, so they got out of their car near Hale Street Bridge in Lowell.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paulino drove by, slowed down and then allegedly shot Devoe in the chest.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been hit,\u201d Devoe said, before jumping back into the driver\u2019s seat to chase Paulino, and ending up crashing into a vehicle barrier.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was taken to Lowell General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two hours after the incident, Paulino posted an ominous message on Facebook writing, \u201cTried to warn Em tried to tell Em told Em stop that you my son don\u2019t make me spank you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Paulino was charged with murder for the \u201crandom encounter in traffic\u201d and \u201cpossible road rage\u201d incident, said Middlesex District Attorney Marian T. Ryan.<\/span><\/p>\n

The young woman appeared in Lowell District Court early Friday wearing a hooded sweatshirt and was held without bail, until her next appearance on March 14.<\/span><\/p>\n

Devoe\u2019s dad, who attended the arraignment, referenced the recent mass shooting in Parkland, Fla., when speaking to reporters outside the courthouse.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI got a call my son\u2019s been murdered,\u201d he said. \u201cI would recommend that this president make it his No. 1 priority to protect the people of this country. Let\u2019s get this stopped. It\u2019s going to get worse.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

A friend of his family set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for funeral expenses.<\/span><\/p>\n
