They currently are playing professionally for the same team in Lithuania.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">&#8220;Lonzo plays best when he is with his brother,&#8221; Ball said. &#8220;Why wouldn&#8217;t \u2014 he is a hell of a shooter. They don&#8217;t play the same position. You see how successful he was when he was with his brother?&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">The Lakers selected Lonzo Ball with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 draft. The rookie is averaging 10.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 36 games. However, he&#8217;s missed the last 12 games because of a sprained knee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">He is under contract with the Lakers through the 2020-21 season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">LiAngelo would be eligible to play in the NBA next season, and LaMelo two years after that.
