One of them was armed with a handgun, police said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The carjacking happened on the 3100 block of 36th Street in Northwest at around 11 p.m., police said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The teens later got into a car crash with the stolen vehicle in Southeast. The crash happened near the intersection of Mississippi Avenue and 15th Street, NBC Washington\u2019s Adam Tuss reported.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The three then fled.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">There has been no word on the condition of the driver in the other vehicle involved in the crash.
