Cohen represented the Trump Organization at the time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">In making the transaction, both Cohen and Daniels&#8217;s lawyers used pseudonyms, according to the Journal. The deal allegedly occurred in October 2016, just weeks before voters headed to the polls.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Cohen and the White House have denied the alleged affair with Daniels, and have not commented on the $130,000 payout, which the Journal first reported last week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Trump \u201conce again vehemently denies\u201d the encounter, Cohen said in a statement last week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">\u201cThis is now the second time that you are raising outlandish allegations against my client,\u201d Cohen said in the statement. \u201cYou have attempted to perpetuate this false narrative for over a year; a narrative that has been consistently denied by all parties since at least 2011.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">On Wednesday, InTouch published excerpts from an interview with Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, from 2011 in which Clifford claims to have had sex with the president after meeting him Nevada in 2006.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">\u201c[The sex] was textbook generic,\u201d Daniels said. \u201cI actually don\u2019t even know why I did it, but I do remember while we were having sex, I was like, \u2018Please, don\u2019t try to pay me.\u2019 \u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Daniels also told the publication that, after the encounter, Trump kept saying: \u201c \u2018I\u2019m gonna call you, I\u2019m gonna call you. I have to see you again. You\u2019re amazing.
