North Korea threat: ‘Trump is cleaning up Obama’s mess!’ Former President SAVAGED<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

DONALD TRUMP\u2019S Press Secretary attacked the Obama administration for being \u201csilent and complicit\u201d with North Korea, claiming this is the reason why Trump has to deal with the rogue state\u2019s nuclear threats now.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah Sanders, Donald Trump\u2019s Press Secretary, spoke in a press conference about Trump\u2019s tweets against North Korea and blamed the Obama administration for its lack of leadership against the rogue state.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ms Sanders said: \u201cI think what didn\u2019t help was the complacency and the silence of the previous administration.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTrump is a President who leads through strength and he\u2019s going to do that and he\u2019s going to focus on everything that he can do in order to keep Americans safe.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She added: \u201cHe\u2019s not going to be pushed around by the leader of North Korea. Our policy with North Korea has not changed, we\u2019re fully committed to continuing to apply maximum pressure and working with all of our partners in the region, including South Korea who we have a better relationship with now than ever before.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re going to keep working with them and keep pushing forward and hopefully North Korea will start making better decisions.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201dI think what’s dangerous is to ignore continued threats.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf the previous administration had done anything and dealt with North Korea and dealt with Iran instead of standing by and doing nothing, we wouldn’t have to clean up their mess now.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Ms Sanders fired back at a reporter questioning the mental fitness of the President of the United States in relation to his latest tweets against Kim Jong-un.<\/span><\/p>\n

She said: \u201cThe people of this country should be concerned about the mental fitness of the leader of North Korea.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Kim Jong-un threatened the US in his New Year\u2019s Day speech saying he has a \u201cnuclear button\u201d on his desk he\u2019s ready to use if North Korea is threatened.<\/span><\/p>\n

Donald Trump replied to the North Korean dictator in a tweet a few hours after Kim\u2019s speech.<\/span><\/p>\n

He wrote: \u201cNorth Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the \u2018Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.\u2019 Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
