World War 3: North Korea vows ‘NO change’ to nuclear policy in 2018<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

NORTH Korea will continue to enhance its nuclear capabilities in 2018 despite international sanctions pressure to back down, state media has revealed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pyongyang propaganda outlet KCNA made the announcement in a report titled “No Force Can Prevail over Independence and Justice\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

The chilling report said: \u201dThe DPRK, an undeniable new strategic state and nuclear power, declares: Do not expect any change in its policy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The state-run outlet said: “On February 12 the DPRK successfully test-fired the new type strategic weapon system Pukguksong-2, ground-to-ground intermediate-range strategic ballistic rocket.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOn Nov. 29, the DPRK succeeded in the test-fire of new type ICBM Hwasong-15 reflecting its tremendous might as a world-class military power.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The US persistent moves against the DPRK in political, economic, military, diplomatic and all other fields till the end of this year could not stop even a moment the advance of the DPRK confident in the victory of its cause.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The DPRK, as a responsible nuclear weapons state, will lead the trend of history to the only road of independence and justice, weathering all tempests on this planet.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

News of North Korea\u2019s announcement has come despite experts claimed that the hermit kingdom\u2019s ruler may seek to launch a peace offensive toward the US as sanctions will likely begin to hit the regime hard in the new year.<\/span><\/p>\n

The UN Security Council (UNSC) imposed sanctions on North Korea after its sixth nuclear test on September 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

The sanctions adopted by the UNSC following that test are aimed at slashing North Korea\u2019s oil imports by 30 per cent and ban exports of North Korean textiles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another UNSC sanctions resolution, seek to cut refined petroleum product exports to North Korea by 89 per cent, was also passed in response to a North Korean missile test on November 29.<\/span><\/p>\n

The hermit kingdom\u2019s latest announcement also has come as one expert has claimed that the country could have the capability to hit the US with a nuclear missile within two months.<\/span><\/p>\n

Asia analyst Gordon Chang said: \u201cThey wouldn\u2019t put Anthrax in an ICMB because the method of delivery wouldn\u2019t be that effective but nuclear weapons they\u2019re within maybe 2 months.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNow it\u2019s been disclosed that the CIA gave President Trump an assessment that you know within that time frame they\u2019ll be able to hit the US with a nuke.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
