North Korea THREATENS Donald Trump with ‘cannons’ as Kim Jong-un increases WW3 fears<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

NORTH Korea has vowed to harm the US with \u201ccannons\u201d, sparking renewed fears of World War 3 between the two nations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kim Jong-un\u2019s despotic regime has also warned that the US will \u201dbitterly regret its strategy” and accused Donald Trump of plotting to \u201cinvade and control\u201d the communist state.<\/span><\/p>\n

A foreign ministry spokesman for Kim Jong-un said: \u201cThe international society should remain vigilant against the manoeuvres of the gang of Trump to invade and control the DPRK by igniting a nuclear war at any cost in the Korean peninsula.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd see through the ulterior motive behind the US\u2019 repeated talk of dialogue, designed to cover up its evil intention and mock the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

“As the US set its diplomatic and security policy at crushing us militarily and is publicly aiming a sword at us, we will make the US bitterly regret its strategy with our cannons.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Pyongyang\u2019s intervention has come after the Trump administration on Monday unveiled its National Security Strategy which detailed the challenge posed by North Korea\u2019s nuclear missile programme to the US.<\/span><\/p>\n

The report said: \u201cNorth Korea is ruled by a ruthless dictatorship without regard for human dignity. For more than 25 years, it has pursued nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles in defiance of every commitment it has made.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cToday, these missiles and weapons threaten the United States and our allies. The longer we ignore threats from countries determined to proliferate and develop weapons of mass destruction, the worse such threats become, and the fewer defensive options we have.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In a foreword written by the US President, Donald Trump added: \u201cWe are rallying the world against the rogue regime in North Korea.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the report\u2019s release, Pyongyang on Friday hit back claiming \u201cpeace and stability on the Korean peninsula\u201d had been jeopardised by previous US administrations throwing out all agreements.<\/span><\/p>\n

News of the hermit kingdom\u2019s latest threat has also come as South Korean officials and independent weapons experts have also warned that Pyongyang could be developing biological weapons and be ready to use Anthrax.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anthrax is an infection caused by the bacterium Bacillus anthracis and can occur in four forms: skin, lungs, intestinal, and injection.<\/span><\/p>\n

Former assistant defence secretary Andrew Weber warned about how dangerous the weapons could be if developed by Kim Jong-un.<\/span><\/p>\n

He told CNN: \u201cThe Soviet Union did have warheads that were designed for biological weapons on long-range missiles.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut it is really not necessary, you could deliver an anthrax attack in Los Angeles or Miami or New York, covertly and have a strategic impact and kill tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of people.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

When asked how many people a \u201cthumb-nail sized quantity of Anthrax\u201d could kill if sprayed in the right conditions, Mr Weber said maybe over ten thousand.<\/span><\/p>\n

The regime rejected the claim as \u201cgroundless\u201d and said that it was fulfilling its obligations under the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) which prohibits the production or stockpile of biowarfare weapons.<\/span><\/p>\n

North Korea rejected the reports on the same day that a Japanese newspaper claimed the rogue state had already been successful in developing the weapons.<\/span><\/p>\n

The article, which cites an anonymous source connected to South Korean intelligence, says: \u201cNorth Korea has started experiments such as heat and pressure equipment to prevent anthrax from dying even at a high temperature of over 7,000 degrees generated at the time of ICBM’s re-entry into the atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn part, there is unconfirmed information that it has already succeeded in such experiments.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
