Kim Jong-un vows to ‘enhance militant might’ amid new North Korea missile launch fears<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

KIM Jong-un has ordered his cronies to \u201cenhance the militant might\u201d of his barbaric regime as the young despot continues in his game of brinkmanship with US President Donald Trump.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pyongyang\u2019s supreme leader has furiously attempted to develop his nation into a military giant with rapidly advancing military prowess while issuing searing provocations to those who would oppose hime.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now the despot has told his most trusted citizens to prepare for the future and advance his rule of tyranny.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a meeting of party cell leaders he demanded they \u201cenhance the militant might of the party in every way\u201d \u2013 with propaganda mouthpiece KCNA claiming those deemed to be \u201cfailing to meet the requirements of the era\u201d were scolded by the regime.<\/span><\/p>\n

Party cells are traditionally groupings of between five and 30 members of the ruling Workers Party of Korea who are organised by an official in their residential building in a bid to ensure Kim exhorts maximum control over the population.<\/span><\/p>\n

Party membership is the only way of maintaining a good quality of life within the hermit nation \u2013 with only 25 percent of Koreans deemed to be \u201cloyal\u201d enough to join.<\/span><\/p>\n

The statements come as Kim runs perilously close to the brink of sparking world war 3 as he attempts to drag his subservient citizens towards making North Korea a \u201cfully fledged nuclear state\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

North Korea experts are currently waiting to see if Kim will launch another intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) over the Christmas holiday following the test firing of his new Hwasong-15 rocket.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) said December has usually seen a period of “high missile test activity” by the regime in the past five years.<\/span><\/p>\n

Analysts had expected Kim to carry out some sort of provocation on December 17 – the sixth anniversary of the death of his father Kim Jong-il.<\/span><\/p>\n

They now fear he is planning a shock missile launch involving a “demonstration of a weapon of mass destruction” over the festive period.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ri Jong-hyok, the deputy of North Korea’s Supreme People’s Assembly and director of the National Reunification Institute, attempted to calm World War 3 fears earlier this month by stating that the rogue nation only has a problem with the United States.<\/span><\/p>\n

He said: “It’s the Korean people’s resolute decision that North Korea should face off with the US only with nuclear weapons to achieve the balance of power.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Our nuclear deterrence is a sword of justice aimed at fighting US nuke and Asia and any country in the world need not worry about our threats as long as they do not join invasion and provocations toward us.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

A recent visit by Kim to the spiritually-significant Mount Paektu has also sparked fears he may be plotting a show of strength.<\/span><\/p>\n

The volcano is traditionally a place leaders visit to contemplate big decisions and South Korean insiders believe the despot may be considering his vision for 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

A South Korean government insider said: \u201cKim has a lot on his plate, as next year is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the North Korean government.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSo he needs to deliver tangible results on the country\u2019s politics, economy and diplomacy. S<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is likely Kim thought through what he is going to present as his vision for next year during his visit to Mount Paektu.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
