North Korea MUST come to table as US says armed forces is READY amid World War 3 threat<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

North Korea has to come to the table to talk with President Donald Trump to make a change of direction, says US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.<\/span><\/p>\n

North Korea has continuously sparked fears of the outbreak of World War 3 by persisting with an ambition to create an arsenal of deadly nuclear weapons.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Tillerson spoke at the 2017 Atlantic Council-Korea Foundation Forum in Washington on Tuesday and said the US is \u201cready to talk anytime North Korea like to talk\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

He said: \u201cWe need the DPRK to come to the table, we are ready to talk anytime they like to talk.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut they have to come to the table and they have to come to the table with the view that they are going to make a different choice.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Tillerson stressed the importance of the continuing relationship between the US, South Korea and Japan and on the shared aim with China to denuclearise the rogue state.<\/span><\/p>\n

He said: \u201cOur policy is very clear and that is the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula. it is a policy that is shared within the region, in fact that is China\u2019s policy as well and Russia has stated it is also its policy.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe importance of the success of all this is the very strong relationship that exists between the United States, the Republic of Korea and Japan.”<\/span><\/p>\n

He added: \u201cThis is the basis for the security and the structure of the region and it is one that we continue to have in place and continue to exercise together so that we are ready for any possible military response that might be required.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He warned North Korea latest intercontinental missile test demonstrated they have the capability to advance their programme and that it can be expected of them to do the same in other elements on the integrated nuclear system.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Korean Central News Agency revealed on Tuesday that Kim Jong-un called on workers to up efforts to improve its nuclear arsenal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kim Jong-un asked workers to make \u201cmore of the latest weapons and equipment\u201d and to \u201cbooster up the nuclear force in quality and quantity\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Tillerson said: \u201cIn the meantime our military preparedness is strong. Because of the situation, President Donal Trump has ordered our military planners to have all range of contingencies available and they are ready.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs I\u2019ve told people many times, I will continue our diplomatic efforts until the first bomb drops.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Military leaders in Pyongyang had already said the outbreak of war was an \u201cestablished fact\u201d after the US held joint exercises with Japan and South Korea last week.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rex Tillerson, however, said: \u201cWe\u2019re ready to talk whenever they\u2019re ready to talk.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to a Washington think tank, he added that the US military preparedness to respond to any North Korea threat is high and the military has bene ordered to have a \u201cfull range of contingencies available\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n
