US warns North Korea would be ‘UTTERLY DESTROYED’ – Nations closer to war<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Speaking to the UN Security Council, Ms Haley said that \u201cif war comes, make no mistake, the North Korean regime will be utterly destroyed”.<\/span><\/p>\n

She added: “We have never sought war with North Korea, and still today we do not seek it. If war does come, it will be because of continued acts of aggression like we witnessed yesterday.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The ambassador also revealed that Donald Trump recently spoke with Chinese leader Xi Jinping and asked him to cut off vital oil supplies to North Korea.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beijing is Kim Jong-un\u2019s only ally and accounts for the majority of the country\u2019s trade.<\/span><\/p>\n

Russia\u2019s UN ambassador, Vassily Nebenzia, warned the US that it should not hold military drills near the hermit kingdom next month as it could \u201cinflame an already explosive situation\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

He went on: “We strongly call on all concerned parties to stop this spiral of tension.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It is essential to take a step back and weigh the consequences of each move.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The statements from the two officials come after the hermit kingdom launched their most powerful missile yet, this week.<\/span><\/p>\n

The test marks a significant step forward for the Kim regime, putting the entirety of mainland US and Britain within range.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nuclear experts have said North Korea has yet to deliver a nuclear warhead on top of an ICBM, but it is likely this will happen soon.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first images of the missile launch were released last night – despot leader Kim Jong-un can be seen watching the deadly projectile as it entered the stratosphere before plunging into the Sea of Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n

The rogue nation\u2019s latest missile is more advanced compared to the Hwasong-14 which North Korea tested back in July from an undisclosed location.<\/span><\/p>\n

The main threat for the West is whether the missile can carry a large nuclear warhead far enough to strike the United States.<\/span><\/p>\n

North Korea\u2019s state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) claimed that the Hwasong-15 was “tipped with super-large heavy warhead which is capable of striking the whole mainland of the US\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

With China being the only country propping up the North Korean economy, it appears that Beijing and Xi Jinping could be the key to diffusing World War 3 tensions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Oliver North, a former US Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel, warned China to step in and resolve the issue before a conflict breaks out.<\/span><\/p>\n

The political commentator told Fox News that Donald Trump would offer a \u201cdevastating response\u201d to any genuine North Korean aggression.<\/span><\/p>\n

He added that China would have the most to lose in the event of a war breaking out in the region.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lt. Col. North said: \u201cThere is no doubt that China has all the cards in this.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s important for President Xi to understand that this is not only an existential threat to the United States. It is an existential threat to the whole world.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf the North Koreans launch something that is aimed in this direction with a warhead on it, there will be a devastating response.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The commentator predicted China being swamped by tens of millions of refugees as innocent bystanders attempt to flee the carnage of war.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re talking somewhere between five and ten million refugees,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMillions of people in boats totally disrupting the Chinese economy, and the Chinese are the ones who hold all the cards.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

However, China has been listed alongside a group of states who could be helping North Korea create its deadly arsenal of nuclear weapons.<\/span><\/p>\n

John Bolton a former US ambassador to the United Nations, warned of a series of \u201cdelinquent\u201d states assisting North Korea\u2019s efforts.<\/span><\/p>\n

He told Fox: \u201cThey\u2019ve been buying technology from Russia, China. They are using basic Soviet-era scud missile technology. They\u2019ve cooperated with Iran for many, many years.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere are a lot of delinquents out there that have helped the North Koreans get to this point, no doubt about it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
