Trump to give MAJOR STATEMENT on North Korea after discussing World War 3 threat in Asia<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The US President raised North Korea\u2019s nuclear capability with Australia\u2019s Prime Minister Martin Turnbull and Japan\u2019s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during his tour of Asia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Turnbull said the three countries were all united in their focus on tackling the corrupt nation\u2019s \u201creckless\u201d actions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Trump said when he returns to the US he will deliver \u201ca very complete statement as to trade, as to North Korea, as to a lot of other things\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

He added that on his trip to Asia he had made \u201csome very big steps\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

North Korea has been considered a major threat to all three countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

On three occasions over the past year, Japan has told its citizens to find shelter as the rogue regime launched missiles in the country\u2019s direction.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kim Jong-un has said it has the capability to attack the US territory of Guam with a nuclear weapon in a direct threat to their arch enemy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Australia has also been the target of threats from the rogue state for its close relationship with the US and South Korea.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is not known what Mr Trump is expected to announce on North Korea once he returns to the White House.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the period of the US President\u2019s tour of east and southeast Asia, he has given mixed messages as to his intended next steps to deal with Kim Jong-un.<\/span><\/p>\n

Addressing South Korea\u2019s National Assembly last Wednesday Mr Trump insisted that the US would \u201cnot be intimidated\u201d by the dictator\u2019s rhetoric and called for other countries to respond to the \u201ctwisted regime\u2019s\u201d threats with a sign of military force.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, just days later while in China he appeared to seek a diplomatic situation to the North Korea problem, calling on President Xi Jinping to help reign in his out of control neighbour.<\/span><\/p>\n

He said: \u201cThe US is committed to the complete and permanent de-nuclearisation of North Korea.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cChina can fix this problem easily and quickly and I am calling on China and your great president to hopefully work on it very hard.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf he works on it hard, it will happen, there’s no doubt about it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He also adopted a friendlier tone towards Kim Jong-un on the next stop of his tour, telling a Vietnam press conference \u201cit would be very very nice\u201d if he and Kim became friends.<\/span><\/p>\n
