Trump attacks Kim Jong-un as ‘SHORT and FAT’ amid North Korea demands to REMOVE ‘old man’<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

DONALD Trump taunted Kim Jong-un as \u201cshort and fat\u201d in an extraordinary tirade after the North Korean dictator demanded the US removes the \u201clunatic old man\u201d from power or face World War 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

The US President has once again taken to Twitter to tell Kim Jong-un that he would \u201cNEVER call him short and fat\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

This comes after the North Korean dictator called the Republican a \u201clunatic old man\u201d, seeking to start a nuclear war.<\/span><\/p>\n

The President said: \u201cWhy would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me “old,” when I would NEVER call him “short and fat?” Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend – and maybe someday that will happen!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

North Korea\u2019s state media agency KCNA, accused Donald Trump of escalating tensions between the two countries \u201cto the extremes,\u201d before adding that \u201cno-one can predict when the lunatic old man of the White House, lost to sense, will start a nuclear war\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

KCNA said: “The world is undergoing unprecedented throes because of Trump, a notorious ‘political heretic’.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The US must oust the lunatic old man from power and withdraw the hostile policy towards the DPRK at once in order to get rid of the abyss of doom.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe US had better make a decisive choice\u2026if it does not want a horrible nuclear disaster and tragic doom.”<\/span><\/p>\n

These comments come after Trump attacked \u201chaters and fools\u201d who he says are preventing good relations forming between the US and Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The billionaire tweeted: “When will all the haters and fools out there realise that having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

“There always playing politics – bad for our country. I want to solve North Korea, Syria, Ukraine, terrorism, and Russia can greatly help!”<\/span><\/p>\n

The President has faced a backlash from politicians and commentators for accepting Putin\u2019s statement that Russia did not interfere in the 2016 US Presidential Election.<\/span><\/p>\n

This view contradicts the US intelligence communities conclusion, who said the Russian government was behind the hacking of senior Democratic officials’ emails.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a joint statement, both leaders said \u201csuccessful US-Russia\u201d military efforts have \u201cdramatically accelerated\u201d Islamic State\u2019s territorial losses.<\/span><\/p>\n

The statement added: \u201cThese efforts will continue until the final defeat of Islamic State.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

They agreed that \u201cthere is no military solution\u201d to the bloody six-year civil war and committed to bringing the Syrian president Bashar al-Assad to the peace process in Geneva.<\/span><\/p>\n

Russia has run a major bombing campaign in Syria since 2015 when it stepped in to support Assad\u2019s fight against rebels \u2013 some of them US-backed \u2013 and tipped the conflict in his favour.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the two nations backing competing factions in the conflict, last night\u2019s agreement over the next steps towards peace was said to be significant.<\/span><\/p>\n

While Russian support has kept Assad in power, helping President Putin expand Russian influence across the region, the US is now seeking to have a louder voice in any plan to help the nation recover from years of civil war.<\/span><\/p>\n

Though there was no official bilateral meeting, Trump and Putin were seen sharing cordial handshakes and brief conversations three times during the summit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Afterwards, President Trump said the agreement would save \u201ctremendous numbers of lives\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n
