‘Fascinating’ North Korea is ‘a country like no other’ claims Australian tour company<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Tongil Tours, a company responsible for bringing 500 Australians to the hermit kingdom every year, believes the rogue nation is a country worth visiting despite the persistent threats of nuclear annihilation presented by despot leader Kim Jong-un.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alex Sigley, the runner of the Australian company, said: “It’s a fascinating country, there’s no other country in the world like North Korea.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We wouldn’t be able to bear the moral and legal responsibility of taking people to North Korea if it was dangerous.<\/span><\/p>\n

“When you look at how North Korea is presented in the media, it’s always about nuclear weapons or Kim Jong-un.<\/span><\/p>\n

“But going there and meeting the people is a very important way for North Koreans and Australians to break down the negative stereotypes.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Raymond Ferguson, the secretary of the Australia Democratic Republic of North Korea Friendship Association, believes that the idea of North Korea limiting personal freedoms is nothing more than a fallacy.<\/span><\/p>\n

He stated: “There’s a misconception amongst people here in Australia regarding the political position of North Korea.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We were free to visit sites, of course, we have guides, we needed guides to explain stuff, there’s nothing sinister about it.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I’m not worried about my safety at all in North Korea, I’ve never experienced a safer place to be.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The North Korean state provides free education, free medicine, free hospitals and they even provide free housing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Australia\u2019s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has condemned travel to the hermit kingdom as it attempts to start World War 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

The DFAT declared: “Reconsider your need to travel to the DPRK due to restrictions placed on foreigners and very different laws and regulations applying to behaviour, as well as intermittent DPRK threats against international interests.<\/span><\/p>\n

“This may mean deferring non-essential travel or choosing a less risky destination.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The influx of Australian\u2019s flocking to the rogue state on holiday comes as new reports claim Kim Jong-un is ready to carry out a nuclear test \u201cat any time\u201d as the country continues \u201cactive movement\u201d around a missile research facility.<\/span><\/p>\n

The National Intelligence Service (NIS), South Korea\u2019s spy agency, has given the chilling warning that the hermit kingdom is persisting with its efforts to start World War 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

The NIS said: “The North will carry out an additional nuclear test and continue to push for the development of miniaturised, diversified nuclear warheads.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The South Korean agency stated that increased activity around a research facility in Pyongyang show that despot leader Kim Jong-un is gearing up to launch another world provocation for the first time since September.<\/span><\/p>\n
