US Vice President warns North Korea to ‘NEVER DOUBT’ America’s military power<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

US Vice President warns North Korea to ‘NEVER DOUBT’ America’s military power:-\u00a0<\/strong>THE US Vice President Mike Pence has warned North Korea to \u201cnever doubt the capabilities\u201d of his nation\u2019s Armed Forces as he added that America will retaliate with a \u201coverwhelming\u201d military power if threatened.<\/span><\/p>\n

It comes as North Korea has been ramping up its missile technology with regular rocket tests, including two intercontinental ballistic missiles launches and its sixth nuclear bomb detonation earlier this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

North Korea has also threatened to totally destroy the US and warned Donald Trump \u201cshould think twice about what terrible consequences the US will face\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking at Minot Air Force Base, in North Dakota, Donald Trump\u2019s right hand man told the troops their commander-in-chief is depending on them to “be ready\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Pence said: \u201dOur enemies should never doubt the capabilities of the Armed Forces of the United States of America.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnyone who would threaten our nation should know that America always seeks peace, but if we are forced to defend ourselves or our allies, we will do so with military power that is effective and overwhelming.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

His remarks echoed the US Defence Secretary Jim Mattis, who warned North Korea should prepare for a US onslaught if it continues to escalate its war rhetoric.<\/span><\/p>\n

The threat was issued by Mr Mattis after a visit to the demilitarised zone (DMZ) on the Korean border.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNorth Korean provocations continue to threaten regional and global security despite unanimous condemnation by the United Nations Security Council.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

And while he said the US did not want to go to war with Kim Jong-un\u2019s hermit state, he issued a clear military threat to the despot amid growing rumours of an imminent seventh nuclear test.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Defence Secretary said: \u201cNorth Korea provocations continue to threaten regional and world peace, and despite the unanimous condemnation by the United Nations Security Council, they still proceed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs the US Secretary of State has made clear, our goal is not war, but rather the complete verifiable and irreversible denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

It comes as a US Government source has revealed the despotic state secretly tested a new type of solid-fuel engine last week.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the source, the test took place at North Korea\u2019s solid-fuel engine testing site in Hamhung.<\/span><\/p>\n

And a senior CIA analyst warned that Donald Trump\u2019s visit to China, Japan and South Korea in November could spark another provocation from Kim Jong-un.<\/span><\/p>\n

Japan\u2019s defence minister has also warned North Korea\u2019s threat has grown to a “critical and imminent level\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the time the official added it \u201chad not been decided\u201d if Trump would visit heavily fortified demilitarised zone (DMZ) which separates the north and south.<\/span><\/p>\n
