Sony’s Paris Games Week event to reveal SEVEN “all-new game announcements”<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Sony’s Paris Games Week event to reveal SEVEN “all-new game announcements”:- Sony’s Paris Games Week showing is just around the corner, and today the publisher has announced that it has a few surprise announcements to make.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sony Interactive Entertainment\u2019s Paris Games Week 2017 PlayStation Media Showcase – which is due to kick off at 5pm UK time on October 30 – will host \u201can exclusive look at the next wave of huge PlayStation titles,\u201d according to a new PlayStation Blog post.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, before the main show kicks off, Sony has announced that a smaller introductory livestream that will announce SEVEN new games for PS4 and PS VR.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We\u2019ll begin with an introductory livestream featuring 21 game updates, including seven all-new game announcements for PS4 and PS VR. You won\u2019t want to miss it,” reads the blog.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to an accompanying tweet, the official PlayStation Twitter account teases that, \u201cE3 was only half the story.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

However, it’s the sub-header for the blog post that’s got everyone talking. With Sony promising \u201cbig new game announcements\u201d at the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hopefully, that’s some proper big game announcements and not the disappointing ‘exclusive’ announcements Microsoft bored us all with at Gamescom.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here’s the full announcement:<\/span><\/p>\n

“On 30th October, starting at 3.00pm GMT\/4.00pm CET, PlayStation Live From Paris Games Week will kick off with a slew of updates and announcements before moving straight into the Paris Games Week 2017 Media Showcase, where you\u2019ll get a look at some spectacular new games coming to PS4 and PS VR.<\/span><\/p>\n

“And stick around after the Showcase \u2013 we\u2019ll have further details and info to share in our post-show debrief.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Here\u2019s the best part: you can watch all the fun from the comfort of your home, office or\u2026 home office, via playstation.com\/pgw, Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook.”<\/span><\/p>\n

We’ll find out more next week.<\/span><\/p>\n

We know Sony has got something BIG in the pipeline to show off this Winter, based on comments Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida made earlier this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yoshida previously said Sony chose not to reveal some triple AAA games at E3 2017 as they were saving them for later.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking in June, the Sony Boss said: \u201cThere are things we have held [back], Yoshida said. \u201cWe chose not to show those at E3 2017, but there will be some more news coming out from our teams later this year. No question.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Sony could be saving an announcement on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake for PSX so they end 2017 on a high note and set things up for a great 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n
