World War 3 fears as Russia fires HUGE missile in show of strength – shock video<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

RUSSIA has fired an inter-continental ballistic missile (ICBM), dubbed Satan 2, in a brutal show of force to Washington, Seoul and Pyongyang.<\/span><\/p>\n

Amid an ever-tightening spiral of threat and counter-threat on the Korean peninsula, Russia has issued a major warning with its own provocative missile launch.<\/span><\/p>\n

The launch of the nuclear-capable ICBM took place at the Kura Test Range during war games held in the far-east of Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The missile fired was a Topol-M, capable of travelling at speeds of up to 16,400 miles per hour and to a distance of 6,800 miles – putting all of Europe and the USA’s east coast in range.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shocking footage showed the huge missile slowly pointing upwards before exploding into the sky. Fighter jets then soar along an airfield and into the air.<\/span><\/p>\n

It came as the Vladimir Putin\u2019s military continues to hold military exercises across the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Russia\u2019s defence ministry said: \u201cIn accordance with the Armed Forces Training Plan the Russian Federation conducted training on the management of Russia’s Strategic Nuclear Forces.<\/span><\/p>\n

“To participate in the training, forces and means of the ground, sea and aviation component of the Strategic Nuclear Forces of the Russian Federation were involved.<\/span><\/p>\n

“From the State Plesetsk cosmodrome, the combat calculation of the Strategic Missile Forces launched the launch of the intercontinental ballistic missile Topol on the Kura test range.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Russia also fired ballistic missiles from submarines in the sea off North Korea and Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n

The nation also launched rockets from three jets which all struck ground targets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier this autumn Russia put European leaders on alert with a huge military exercise held in Belarus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thousands of Russian troops marched into Europe for the Zapad Exercises, which some neighbouring countries believed was preparation for an invasion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Poland warned of a “risk” of an “aggressive scenario” during the week-long drills, which began on September 14.<\/span><\/p>\n

Polish Deputy Defence Minister Michal Dworczyk had said he was fearful of violent incidents, warning: \u201cOperations on this scale always run this risk.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

It comes as the Kremlin hit out at possible new US sanctions against Russia which officials described as a cause for concern and a reflection of Washington’s unfriendly and even hostile attitude towards Moscow,<\/span><\/p>\n

The US State Department said yesterday it had belatedly begun informing Congress and others about groups associated with the Russian intelligence and defence sectors as required under a 2017 law tightening sanctions on Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in a conference call with reporters, also said that a Twitter ban on adverts from Russian media was motivated by deep prejudice against Russia which he said set a worrying precedent for treatment of the Russian media.<\/span><\/p>\n
