Kim Jong-Un grovels to CHINA as Xi Jinping becomes world’s most powerful man<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

President Xi consolidated power at his nation\u2019s communist party congress, which is normally used to choose the nation\u2019s next leader.<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead, Xi left with the presidency and no named successor \u2013 making it unlikely that his leadership will be challenged in the next decade as the nation emerges as a heavyweight superpower.<\/span><\/p>\n

He also had \u2018Xi\u2019s thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics\u2019 enshrined in the party\u2019s Communist Charter, making him the second living leader to be given the honour after Chairman Mao.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kim Jong-Un has grovelled to the leader as he looks for allies amid fears his conflict with the US may trigger World War 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

The young tyrant rarely offers personal messages through state media but heaped praise on the Chinese President.<\/span><\/p>\n

North Korean propaganda mouthpiece KCNA said: \u201dIt expressed the conviction that the relations between the two parties and the two countries would develop in the interests of the peoples of the two countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The Chinese people have entered the road of building socialism with the Chinese characteristics in the new era.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

China is North Korea\u2019s only superpower ally, with the hermit kingdom relying on the communist state for 90 per cent of its trade.<\/span><\/p>\n

It comes after Donald Trump highlighted plans to work with China to stop Kim Jong-un, prompting panic on the peninsula from the dictator\u2019s administration.<\/span><\/p>\n

The US President spoke to Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss the issue of North Korea, which is a growing concern in both Washington and Beijing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Trump took to Twitter to threaten North Korea, who he abbreviated as \u2018NoKo\u2019 in his message detailing his call to President Xi.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cosying up to North Korea’s only ally, Mr Trump had called President Xi to congratulate him on gaining more power at the recent Communist Party Congress in China.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Trump posted: \u201cSpoke to President Xi of China to congratulate him on his extraordinary elevation. Also discussed NoKo & trade, two very important subjects!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In a second Tweet posted 15 minutes later, Mr Trump said: \u201cMelania and I look forward to being with President Xi & Madame Peng Liyuan in China in two weeks for what will hopefully be a historic trip!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As tensions escalate Mr Trump\u2019s attempts to cosy up to China will set alarm bells ringing in Pyongyang, who have relied heavily on Beijing throughout its history.<\/span><\/p>\n

However in recent months, as North Korea continues to recklessly test-fire rockets and nuclear weapons, China has begun to turn against the hermit state.<\/span><\/p>\n
