On Monday, she traveled to Pennsylvania to pitch the expansion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Joining the senior adviser at the Capitol on Wednesday was Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Mike Lee (R-Utah), who have both pushed for an expansion of the tax credit in the past and have worked with Ivanka Trump on the matter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The current child tax credit provides working families with $1,000 per child.
