Stricter capital requirements imposed after the 2008 financial crisis have made it more expensive for banks to act as market makers in corporate bonds, leading their fixed-income divisions to slump.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt;color: #000000\">JP Morgan\u2019s fixed-income markets revenue fell 27 percent in the three months ended in September, compared with the same period last year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt;color: #000000\">Troy Rohrbaugh, global head of macro at JPMorgan, said in a statement that Mosaic Smart Data\u2019s technology could make the bank\u2019s teams \u201cquickly make <\/span>better informed<span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt;color: #000000\"> decisions.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt;color: #000000\">Mosaic Smart Data is the first company to complete JPMorgan\u2019s \u201cIn-Residence\u201d program for <\/span>fintech<span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt;color: #000000\"> start-ups, which was launched in 2016.
