Clinton blasts Trump handling of North Korea as picking fights with Kim makes him smile:- HILLARY Clinton has taken a veiled swipe at Donald Trump over his North Korea threats, warning it only makes Kim Jong-un smile amid fears the world is on the brink of war.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs Clinton\u2019s comment comes as Kim Jong-un and President Trump have been locked in a war of words, with both sides threatening to \u201ctotally destroy\u201d the other.<\/span><\/p>\n

The former Secretary of State did not mention Trump by name, but said: \u201dPicking fights with Kim Jong-un puts a smile on his face.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs Clinton also warned that “cavalier” threats to start war on the Korean Peninsula are “dangerous and short-sighted”.<\/span><\/p>\n

She added: \u201dThere is no need for us to be bellicose and aggressive over North Korea.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Last month Trump told the United Nations that the US was prepared to totally destroy North Korea if necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n

The former first lady also indirectly referred to Trump’s insults towards North Korea on Twitter, saying “the insults on Twitter have benefited North Korea, I don’t think they’ve benefited the United States”.<\/span><\/p>\n

North Korea yesterday described the situation on the Korean Peninsula as \u201con the threshold of a nuclear disaster\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

The nation\u2019s deputy UN ambassador Kim In Ryong warned tensions had \u201creached the touch-and-go point and a nuclear war may break out any moment\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

And Mrs Clinton said Washington’s allies have increasingly been expressing concerns over the reliability of the US.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking at a forum in Seoul, she stressed the need for greater pressure on North Korea and diplomacy to bring Pyongyang to talks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs Clinton also called on China to take a “more out front role” in enforcing sanctions against North Korea in a bid to put an end to the rogue state\u2019s missile and nuclear development.<\/span><\/p>\n

It comes as photos have emerged of new construction in China, which experts believe could be part of a contingency plan to invade North Korea or amass the nation\u2019s huge army on their shared border amid World War 3 fears.<\/span><\/p>\n

Communist China has traditionally been North Korea\u2019s closest ally, but Kim Jong-un\u2019s continued nuclear and ballistic missile tests have tested Beijing\u2019s patience.<\/span><\/p>\n

It also comes as North Korea was spotted transporting 30 Scud missiles from Hwangju, south of the capital Pyongyang, to Nampo, on the Korea Bay coast opposite China.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now photos reveal the Communist superpower is building a six-lane highway in its desolately populated north east on route to North Korea.<\/span><\/p>\n

With most Chinese peasants not able to afford the luxury of a car the construction of the G1112 Ji’an\u2013Shuangliao Expressway, has led experts to believe it will be used for quick deployment of tanks and troops to its North Korean border.<\/span><\/p>\n
