She quickly tore into Ivana Trump, after Donald\u2019s ex-went on GMA and called herself the \u2018first lady\u2019 while promoting her new memoir.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Well, this is super awkward. First lady Melania Trump\u2018s, 47, spokeswoman publicly slammed President Donald Trump\u2018s, 71, first wife, Ivana Trump, 68, today, after her remarks that she is the real first lady. Ivana, the mother of three of Trump\u2019s children \u2014 Donald Jr., 39, Ivanka, 35, and Eric, 33 \u2014 insisted during an interview earlier in the day that because she married Trump first, she really is the one who owns the title. \u201cI have the direct number to White House,\u201d Ivana told ABC\u2019s Good Morning America while talking about her new memoir and current relationship with Trump, the father of her three children. \u201cBut I\u2019m not really going to call him there because Melania is there, and I don\u2019t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that, because I\u2019m basically first Trump wife, OK? I\u2019m the first lady, OK?\u201d Whoa, they&#8217;re definitely fighting words.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Melania\u2019s aide came right for Ivana after the interview, saying that she\u2019s a self-serving attention seeker looking to sell more copies of her new tell-all, Raising Trump. \u201cMrs. Trump has made the White House a home for Barron and the president,\u201d said Stephanie Grisham, Melania\u2019s spokeswoman. \u201cShe loves living in Washington, D.C., and is honored by her role as the first lady of the United States.\u201d \u201cShe plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books,\u201d Stephanie continued. \u201cThere is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex. Unfortunately only attention-seeking and self-serving noise.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Apart from detailing her marriage and subsequent messy divorce from Trump (who would go on to marry second wife Marla Maples, 53, before Melania) in her new book, Ivana talks about her children.
