Britain prepares for possible war with North Korea:- Britain is preparing for all-out war with North Korea \u2014 amid concerns that the escalating tensions between dictator Kim Jong Un and President Trump could spiral out of control, according to a report.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the plans being mulled is the deployment of the Royal Navy\u2019s newest aircraft carrier, the 65,000-ton HMS Queen Elizabeth, before it has undergone flight trials.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe have plenty of ships to send \u2026 the Type-45 destroyers, the Type-23 frigates. Britain\u2019s new aircraft carrier could be pressed into service early if things turn south,\u201d a senior Whitehall source told the Daily Mail.<\/span><\/p>\n

The HMS Queen Elizabeth, which is conducting sea trials in Portsmouth, is not due to enter service until 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n

Plans to deploy it ahead of schedule drew comparisons with the start of the Falklands War.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn the Falklands we had to react to an event and HMS Illustrious was accelerated to respond,\u201d a navy source told the Mail.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis was a reaction to protect British territory, however. In this case [North Korea], the UK would be part of a united global coalition. We would see what support we could give.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the rogue regime will mark the anniversary of the founding of its ruling party, and it is feared that Pyongyang will mark the occasion by launching another missile.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOur country has been unsuccessfully dealing with North Korea for 25 years, giving billions of dollars & getting nothing. Policy didn\u2019t work!\u201d the president tweeted Monday morning.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Saturday, he cryptically tweeted about decades of failure by previous administrations in getting the regime to curtail its weapons program.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPresidents and their administrations have been talking to North Korea for 25 years, agreements made and massive amounts of money paid . . . hasn\u2019t worked, agreements violated before the ink was dry, makings fools of U.S. negotiators,\u201d he posted.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSorry, but only one thing will work!\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

When asked to elaborate, he said: \u201cYou\u2019ll figure that out pretty soon.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In return, Kim said his regime\u2019s nuclear weapons serve as a \u201cpowerful deterrent\u201d that guaranteed his country\u2019s sovereignty.<\/span><\/p>\n

He also downplayed the effects of UN sanctions by claiming the North Korean economy is strong.<\/span><\/p>\n
