Witnesses told police that someone approached him on foot and fired shots. He was pronounced dead on the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">No one was in custody, police said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Earlier Tuesday, a man was killed and another was seriously wounded in a South Shore shooting Tuesday afternoon, according to Chicago police.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The attack occurred around 12:45 p.m. in the 7000 block of South Chappel Avenue on the South Side, police said. Officers responding to a call of shots fired found both of the men shot in the head.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">One of them, 21, was pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The other, 24, was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">A 20-year-old man was shot in the stomach in the 7100 block of South Aberdeen Street in the city&#8217;s Englewood neighborhood on the South Side. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">He was at his residence when someone fired shots at him, police said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">No other details were released.
