North Korea missile launch is because Kim Jong-un believes USA will invade rogue state:- North Korea sparked World War 3 fears after Pyongyang launched a test rocket, which passed over Japan before crashing into the sea on Tuesday.<\/span><\/p>\n

After weeks of escalating tension between the Kim regime and Washington, US President Donald Trump responded by insisting \u201call options are on the table\u201d and refused to rule out a military solution.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to talkRADIO, Chris Ogden, a senior lecturer at the School of International Relations at St Andrews, claimed the missile launch was an attempt by North Korea to warn the USA off a potential invasion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Ogden added Mr Trump could react as his \u201cego gets pricked\u201d by people demanding a response to the actions of Kim Jong-un\u2019s regime.<\/span><\/p>\n

The expert said: \u201cI think North Korea are trying to force some kind of solution, hopefully diplomatic.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd they are also just responding to, really, the belligerence of Donald Trump, who said \u2018there needs to be a solution and I\u2019m the man who can do it\u2019 \u2013 but really, he\u2019s not in a position to do anything.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think there is some showboating, but also they are highly isolated internationally. They still believe they are at war with South Korea and think they\u2019re on the verge of being invaded by the Americans so they want to try and push back against that.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey also want to be recognised internationally as a legitimate political entity and be allowed to keep their nuclear weapons, and these are means to try and attempt that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Another Korean expert has claimed children in the North are taught to expect an attack from the US at any time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sam Yoon, executive director of the Council of Korean Americans, said there is a serious cultural understanding gap between the US and North Korea which needs to be addressed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Yoon told RT: \u201cThere is a difference in perception between North Korea and the US that is a chasm.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe US considers this a readiness exercise because they are simply looking at the capability of the North and its provocations and needs to be ready at a moment\u2019s notice if something were to happen, which no one is hoping will.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn North Korea, you have a society that from the age of two or three you are educated that the US, South Korea and Japan want nothing but to destroy your country.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSo, they are seeing these military exercises as being a preparation for an actual invasion.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a failure of understanding of how each other thinks. And given the escalation that is happening now, it is almost a response out of fear.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
