It was his second appearance since spending two weeks on the DL with patellar tendinitis in his right knee. Cleveland said he left Monday with the same injury.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">\u201cHope for the best and hope that it\u2019s not a big deal,\u201d Miller said. \u201cIt stinks missing any time. I\u2019ve already missed 12 days or something like that. I don\u2019t want to do it again. We\u2019ll find out more (Tuesday). See how I wake up.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">Miller began the seventh by walking Boston Red Sox star Mookie Betts on six pitches \u2014 including a number of fastballs that failed to reach 90 mph \u2014 and then threw one pitch to Andrew Benintendi before walking off the mound. Indians manager Terry Francona and a team trainer had a brief conversation with Miller, who then left the field.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">\u201cIt was kind of not really crisp the first pitches,\u201d he said. \u201cBut the pitch I pulled inside to Mookie, I kind of felt it.
