Halls Chophouse’s Sunday Gospel Brunch<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Make reservations early (i.e., when you first book your trip) because as soon as the word \u201cbrunch\u201d was mentioned, every concierge U.S. News spoke with offered Halls Chophouse’s Sunday Gospel Brunch as their top recommendation. The soulful live music from an array of performers, including gospel stalwarts The Plantation Singers, is just part of the appeal.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHalls has an excellent menu, and is known for their impeccable service, VIP treatment and true Southern hospitality,\u201d says Jess Segall, front office supervisor at the HarbourView Inn.<\/span><\/p>\n

A tony spot on East Bay Street, High Cotton offers a brunch menu featuring decadent Charleston she-crab soup and fried oysters Florentine, among other standards. Waterfront Park is just a block away, so you can walk off some of that indulgence.<\/span><\/p>\n

The beverage menu also is sure to please. Try the Death by Mimosa or the charred tomato bloody mary.<\/span><\/p>\n
